About the variety

A regional blend of Castillo, Caturra and Colombia, the varieties planted on most Colombian farms. Castillo and Colombia were bred by Cenicafé for resistance to coffee leaf rust; together they give a dependable, balanced cup in volume.

Where it grows

Tolima lies in central Colombia on the slopes of the Central Andes. Its southern municipalities, such as Planadas and Rioblanco, have become a reference for high-altitude specialty coffee.

Processing

Natural: whole cherries are dried with the fruit still on the bean. Expect more fruit, sweetness and body.

The lot was fermented only with its own microorganisms, with nothing added.
